This is a simple effect which you can carry in your pocket and perform at any time and any place for any audience.
No preparation or set up, no forces or multiple outs, you will get a kick out of the very clever method used.
Effect : the performer displays five cards with random numbers between 1 and 500, which can be examined.
There are two different numbers on the front and back of each card. The total of the 5 cards will vary, depending on the sides selected and many different totals are possible with the five cards.
You ask the spectator to slip these cards face up or face down into five opaque “sleeves”, as you turn away, so that you cannot possibly know what numbers have been selected or their total.
However you are able to instantly give the total of the number on top of the selected cards, although even the spectator has no clue to this. He verifies you are correct, with a pocket calculator or manual addition.
We supply you the five specially printed cards, and the five sleeves with full instructions. Very simple to perform, yet baffling to the uninitiated, and ready to use any time.
